One of our favorite traditions is staffing a standby emergency response ambulance and bike team for the YMCA Turkey Trot on Thanksgiving mornings.
Our volunteers get up early and come on down to watch all the dedicated runners of all ages make their way from James Monroe High School, around the historic residential area, and back to the finish line. As always, we had a wonderful time participating, and to show their thanks, the YMCA gave us a $1000 donation. We greatly appreciate their support, along with all the good they do for the Fredericksburg community.
